BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH
Rachel's Well is a Speaking/Writing ministry that seeks to reach around the globe with the message of Jesus Christ. Speaking primarily to Women's groups, I have lead retreats and conferences and provided key note speaking engagements.
I also proudly serve as an Army Chaplain in the Army Reserves. This link provides more information about my Chaplaincy work. Since the attacks on our country in 2001, this part of my ministry has taken most of my time.
I am married to Chaplain Lt Col Michael Coggins an Air Force Chaplain. It is my privilege to be married to this wonderful man and to support his ministry. Our son Nathan is 17 years old.
We have lived in Louisiana, North Carolina, Virginia, Boston, Germany, Las Vegas, Turkey, Georgia, California the Azores and Arizona. This breadth of experience has given me much to talk about in my ministry. I have written a book about our experiences in Turkey and love sharing stories about the insights I gleaned from living in this fascinating country where Paul was born.
God called me into ministry in the summer of 1974. Since then I have experienced many ministerial positions and educational opportunities including Military, Institutional, and Hospital Chaplaincy; Religious Education Director and Teacher; Choral Director, Music Teacher and Soloist; Prison Minister; short-term Missionary to Africa and New England; and Assistant for the Greater Boston Baptist Association.
